We’ll take the Tomos, Thomas.

We’re waiting on shipment of a 2012 Tomos. Despite its appearance, it’s wee. At 110 lbs., it’s the smallest moped sold in the US market. The Tomos will hang on the back of the Cargo Space, and will serve as our launch/away/utility vehicle, allowing for the running of errands when we’re parked, or if we have a need to be in two places at once.

TOvarna MOtornih koles Sežana, is Slovenian for Motorcycle Company Sežana, and is based in Koper, Slovenia. Among other vehicles, they manufactured the Tomos Citron (which also looks like it could be hung on the back of the bus).

Tomos is a favorite in the DIY community, being eminently customizable. It’s often modified to run at speeds in excess of 60 mph. We’re leaving ours stock, for now…
